U Facilitating U

Facilitating groups, especially facilitating youth groups means way more than being able to organise and structure meetings or workshops. Non-formal education requires facilitators that are able to react, respond and adapt to what young participants are thinking, doing and offering to a conversation or training. Good facilitators are able to create an inspiring environment for young people, packed with interactive opportunities for discussion, and knows how to inspire the group to reach constructive solutions.

U Facilitating U is a training course for organisations looking to improve their key staff-, volunteers- and leaders’ competencies in terms of facilitating groups. Consisting of both, a generic training course on developing facilitation skills and a custom made individual training for each participant, the training aims on providing the perfect tools, resources and training for being an inspiring facilitator. The training course equips participants with knowledge and practical experience, builds on the existing capacities of the youth workers and leaders in their facilitation competencies to be able to implement high quality non-formal education youth activities - therefore improving the local based youth work and increasing local youth participation. 🤝
